Dear Ruth and John, I still continue thinking often of Sophie, but especially on this day each year, and I think of you too of course. I am so thankful to have had a friend like Sophie who sweetened our dreary days at school, and with whom we shared so much laughter. Those are very special memories, very dear to my heart.
